Meet Nicky- Owner of Salon Nine Seven
People often ask me how I ended up in the beauty industry. The truth is, it was never just about hair.
I've always been fascinated by people, their stories, and the way confidence can change how someone walks through the world. Becoming a hairstylist gave me the opportunity to combine creativity with connection, creating a career where I get to help people feel seen, heard, and beautiful every single day.
For nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of working behind the chair and educating with some of the most talented and innovative hairstylists in the industry. Those experiences eventually led me to opening Salon Nine Seven. My goal wasn't simply to open a salon. I wanted to create a place where guests felt genuinely welcomed, where kindness was part of the culture, and where people could leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Outside the salon, you'll often find me volunteering in the community, supporting local schools and nonprofits, cheering on my kids at their activities, or dreaming up new ways to bring people together. I believe businesses have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact beyond the services they provide, and that's a philosophy woven into everything we do at Salon Nine Seven.
